COACHING YOU TO SUCCESS
Empowering Women and Girls Locally and Globally

We Thrive

Women's Coaching Programme
Every Monday at Refuge 12.00noon

Welcome

We hope that we will inspire and inform you during these crucial times for women and girls.  The pressures on women and girls are unique. We are bombarded with a range of expectations from body image to having the perfect relationship, to "having it all". Yet where does the strength to fulfil these complex and competing expectations come from?

Our Network is absolutely dedicated to building up women and girls from within so that they have everything it takes, not just to survive but to thrive in the 21st Century.

The Inner Strength Network (I.S.N) was set up with the aim of coaching and supporting women and girls and their families to overcome difficult moments in their lives. We are committed to improving gender equality in the community to raise issues where others are placed at a disadvantage, discriminated or have faced injustice. We want to improve your aspirations and encourage your physical, emotional health and well-being.We continue to speak up about Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) and continue to speak on these issues in our community.

On this website, you will find information about our activities, events, important information on how to stay safe and healthy in relationships, as well as the latest information to motivate and inspire you to be the leading lady you were created to be.   Too many girls are sold the wrong information about their sexuality, and we train them on how to love themselves and build resilience.

We are inclusive to all sexualities and welcome all as an equal opportunities' employer.

We are passionate about...

Providing practical support to women and girls (and their families) helping them to overcome difficult moments in their lives. We support them to find inner strength, build resilience and aspirations. We support their physical and emotional health and well-being needs.

Social Abuse

The intentional use of physical force or power, threatened or actual, against oneself, another person, or against a group or community, that either results in or has a high likelihood of resulting in injury, death, psychological harm, maldevelopment, or deprivation ( we sit on hate crime committees and stop and search committees)

Sad on Couch

Spiritual Abuse

Happens when someone uses spiritual or religious beliefs to hurt, scare or control you. It can involve someone forcing you or your children to participate in spiritual or religious practices when you don't want to.

We don’t agree with conversion therapy but believe all deserve to maintain their own identify without harm.

Physical Abuse

In general, a relationship is emotionally abusive when there is a consistent pattern of abusive words and bullying behaviours that wear down a person's self- esteem   and undermine their mental wellbeing.  We support women and their children who are impacted as a result of physical abuse, whether it is happening now or in the past.

"In my darkest moments I have really been supported by ISN and I just cannot thank you enough. Now I plan to study at South Bank University and move forward for the good of myself and children."

GEL has given me the opportunity to develop personally and professionally.  After a long time hiatus from education.  Maureen and the other girls have been instrumental in getting my life back.  Thank you, so much.
